Chronic boredom, what can I do?

best world of warcraft jokes

wow lol

I’m talking computer games here. If you’re not computer game savvy, leave now please.

I play computer games 10~ hours a day. "omg dood dats not healthy!1!!!1eleven!1!", you say? Shut up, that’s not my concern.

Anyway, I’ve always had a hard time finding a game to play. I’ve played so many, but I get bored of them so quickly.

"dood, world of warcraft is wat ur looking 4"
"omg play counterstrike it roxxorz teh interwebz!"
"runescape! u never get bored wif runescape!"
"i know i know! play call of duty, it’s teh biggest, bested, greatest —"

Yeah yeah yeah, I’ve heard it all, tried it all, they fail. They all have significant flaws.

World of Warcraft or Runescape – simply boring. Get a quest, kill the guy, rinse and repeat until the end of time. It gets old – fast.

Counter Strike / Call of Duty – What a freakin joke these games all. They’re woefully unrealistic which just completely ruins the game. Unrealism – back on the shelf.

Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy.

rainbow six vegas, if ur complaining about realism try playing it on REALISTIC mode, trust me, its hard but entertaining, also splintercell games are fun, and last, hitman: Blood money, u have to think about what u do, instead of blasting everyone in the room. i play close to as much as u do, and it actually took me kind of a long time to beat these games, instead of like prince of persia:T2T, i beat that in a day on hard. oh and its not healthy, but who gives a fuck.

Assasin’s Creed, a bit of a mix between the strategic and stealth elements of Hitman and the freedom of Grand Theft Auto, you can check it out here :

Also you can take a look at Crysis, if your computer can handle it. But it’s an FPS so you might get somewhat bored:

If you’re more into MMO’s you can check out the unique action gameplay of The Agency, although its release date has yet to be announced:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Agency_%28video_game%29

And the game I’m most excited about is Spore, an amazing, addicting looking evolution game where you get to create your own alien race and develop it until it can go into space, at which point you’ll be able to visit literally millions of other planets that other players like yourself have created. The list of interesting features goes on and on, and it promises to change some aspects of the future of gaming. Check it out here:

I really hope this helps you, but then again the first 2 games I mentioned are coming out in November, the 3rd has yet to be announced, and Spore is coming out around April next year, so you might need to wait if you like these games. I’ve tried to list a couple of rather unique games that, in different aspects, promise to change the rules of video gaming in general. I also used Wiki articles simply because they give you a nice summary of all the knowledge you need on each game. hope it helps, cheers :)
