Leeroy Jenkins, sometimes misspelled Leroy Jenkins and often elongated with numerous additional letters, is an Internet phenomenon named for a player character created by Ben Schultz in Blizzard Entertainment’s MMORPG, World of Warcraft. The character has become popular thanks to a machinima video of the game that circulated around the Internet. The phenomenon has since spread beyond the boundaries of the gaming community into other online and mainstream media. The video was released by the World of Warcraft Alliance player guild “PALS FOR LIFE” on the Laughing Skull pvp realm. It features a group of players discussing a detailed battle strategy for a group of enemies while one of their members, Leeroy, is away from his computer. Their plan is ruined when Leeroy returns and, ignorant of the strategy, immediately charges headlong into battle shouting his own name as a battle cry. His companions rush to stop him but his subsequent actions ruin the meticulous plan, and the group members are killed. His response to the other players’ reactions, “at least I have chicken”, was also much parodied. I am completely against it. Multiple reasons, about to go to bed though. First off, I started playing Wow during WOTLK, so I don’t know the bulk of information others do, but I do know enough that this expansion will devistate the game.

First reason- Unrealistic class changes! Dwarf shaman, and Tauren Paladins? That is just rediculous. Not so much the Pally part, but I think the shammy idea is funny, in a bad way. Blood Elf Warrior is understandable I guess.

Second Reason- Resource Recession. I don’t know about other peoples’ realms, but on Twisting Nether the price for Titanium has gone down significantly. So I deciced to mine Thorium and Mithril, I don’t play anymore, but I believe those two went for 50-70g a stack. When Saronitre was only going 22-24g per stack…funny because you can sell it for 25…That’s sad. So basically with this new Flying Mount in Azeroth availability will destroy the economy….in another way….prices will drop so low, that it will be pointless to mine anymore, unless you are doing it for skill-ups. And the mithril and thorium were hard enough to find on ground mounts. On flying? I mean it will either be way too easy, or just as hard as Titanium. We will see.

Third Reason- Diminishing stats. Why? This is a very clear statement from Blizzard saying that they think the game is too HARD. Getting rid of attack power? Mana regen? Spell Power? Mine as well hop back on D2…… It’s bad enough I have to deal with anal jokes from teenagers, now I have to deal with infants with this new exspansion.

BLIZZARD IS MAKING THE GAME WAY TOO EASY

Overall, the exspansion will be the end of……Im not saying it.

P.S: Even if I am bitching about it, the odds are I will come back to the game. I shouldn’t of deleted them….damn, it sucks. I had the toon named Cataclysm…….Fack!
