Question by twinone: Will World of Warcraft:Cataclysm support windows 2000 operating system?
I currently have no trouble whatsoever playing World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King on windows 2000, but when cataclysm comes out, will it support the windows 2000 operating system?

Windows 2000 is technically not supported by Blizzard at this time, meaning, if you call into technical support and tell them what your operating system is, they may or may not be able to help you, simply because it is so outdated as far as knowledge bases go.

Your largest hurdle is going to be the support of DirectX 11, which Blizzard has been experimenting with in PTR/Beta builds of Cataclysm. If Win2000 can continue to support the changes in the game engine, then it stands to reason that Win2000 will also continue to support the game as a whole.

This is a full run of the prologue area of the Worgen Starting Zone, which takes you from Level 1 to Level 5. Black Embersilk Gown is one of the newest and highest status garments for your bank alt. Part of it’s scarcity is that tailoring must be extremely high, like maxed out, and a chaos orb is required (which is soulbound and aquired in raids or dungeons or some such). Well, these gowns look great on the female toons. But, as I quickly found out on my first male dwarf bank alt, it leaves unsightly gaps of flesh exposed! Interestingly enough, it does not seem to do this on female toon (go figure). Anyway, poor male dwarf was looking like a transvestite (already got a male tauren bank alt that prefers elegant dress, and btw ran into another who had been doing the same about as long as I). What to do? I mean it really looked stupid.

Turns out that Stylish Red Shirt completes the outfit pretty nice. I just upgraded my Enchanting/Inscription/Bank Alt Gnome to lvl 75 and was converting him back to Bank Alt status (as opposed to field gear)… put the gown on (stripped my other bank alt to get it, LOL, oh, he is my tailoring/leatherworking alt and has a gown on AH that he can wear later), with the Bright Yellow Shirt already on… Yuk! Not a good mix. So, on with the Stylish Red Shirt, and… “You LOOK MARVELOUS!” (if any of you old-timers remember the Billy Crystal pop song… “It’s not HOW you feel, it is HOW YOU LOOK, and YOU LOOK MARVELOUS!”, I think this was in response to all the touchy-feely advice during the late 1980s, LOL).

Question by Jess: Will an alienware area51m 5550 laptop run world of warcraft cataclysm?
I am looking into buying an Alienware Area51m 5550 laptop of eBay, and it says it may not run newer games. I want to know if it will download and run world of warcraft cataclysm? I tried looking online to find an answer but nothing has an answer for it.
It has a 2gb ram, 80g hard drive, 1.8GHz Processor speed and an intel duo core processor.

I wouldn’t recommend playing that game on your computer since your processor is incapable of handling it’s demands, your processor speed is relatively slow leading to slow downs and poor game quality. I am assuming your graphics card is weak so you will get low quality images and you won’t be satisfied with the performance. Your bound to experience slow downs if you install this game. All the best

I’ll answer this yes, but with an explanation.

You can customize the appearance of each the Worgen and Human forms, but they both change while you do it. Making changes on the Worgen form, also makes changes on the Human form. They do not customize independently.
