I’m talking computer games here. If you’re not computer game savvy, leave now please.

I play computer games 10~ hours a day. "omg dood dats not healthy!1!!!1eleven!1!", you say? Shut up, that’s not my concern.

Anyway, I’ve always had a hard time finding a game to play. I’ve played so many, but I get bored of them so quickly.

Yeah yeah yeah, I’ve heard it all, tried it all, they fail. They all have significant flaws.

World of Warcraft or Runescape – simply boring. Get a quest, kill the guy, rinse and repeat until the end of time. It gets old – fast.

Counter Strike / Call of Duty – What a freakin joke these games all. They’re woefully unrealistic which just completely ruins the game. Unrealism – back on the shelf.

Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy.

Hey, I used to play wow (world of warcraft) nd i ran out of gametime and couldn’t renew it. When i realized that i could live without wow i choose to quit. But i was the Guild Master of a very big guild on my server. My best friend is in my guild and i wish to make her the guild master, but i don’t want to spend 30 dollars just to make her guild master. Is there anyway to change the guild master if I don’t have game time? I don’t want to tell them to destroy the guild because it is a very friendly guild where everyone loves each other and, no joke, we are all like a family. I would hate to be the reason why its going to be gone forever. Is there anyway to make my friend the guild master so we won’t have to kill it? (ps there’s like millions of gold nd valuable stuff in the bank that i wouldn’t want the guild to lose.)

I’m a seventeen year old boy (eighteen in less than two weeks), and I’m struggling to maintain my sanity. I’ve been diagnosed with ADD, OCD, and an anxiety disorder, although from what I’ve gathered there’s a good chance that I’m also suffering from mild depression. I also have a major stuttering problem – so bad that it can take me up to thirty seconds just to say what most people can say in five or six.

I’ve given up on finding friends at my school; I’m too socially awkward and have difficulty picking up on social cues that most people know instinctively (i.e. somebody will make a silly or sarcastic comment and I’ll think they’re being serious, then they have to say "it’s a joke" and I end up looking like an idiot). Instead, I resorted to making friends on online MMORPGs (mainly World of Warcraft), and I felt like it helped my self-esteem. Due to a decline in grades on report cards though, my parents have restricted ALL online games from my computer.

I don’t care about trying to hack into the server and secretly reenabling online games onto my computer, but my parents basically removed my only social outlet. My best (and mostly only) friends were online, but now I can’t even tell them why I’m not playing with them. My anxiety’s starting to pile up on me again, and I’ve been having negative thoughts, especially at night right before I go to bed. Not suicidal thoughts by any sense of the world, but I break out into tears at night for no apparent reason. I think if I just had somebody to speak with online about this, even somebody to chat with about anything, my depression would lessen.

Is there any way I can find a friend (or anybody for that matter) to chat with about…well…anything? I’d see a therapist, but my parents are the only way I can make that happen, and they haven’t been very helpful. I tried to be outright with them about how I was feeling and they just gave me a "C’mon now, your life can’t be THAT bad; deal with it like the everybody else does" look and asked me not to say such "silly nonsense." I’ve even tried to give subtle hints about how I was feeling, but they’re either ignoring them outright or they just don’t care.

Any legitimate advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks for sticking with the question; I know it was long.

Runescape’s community is utterly revolting, and the graphics are quite the eyesore to anyone not living in a cave for the past 10 years, playing games from the 90s. However, I love the skill system. I love how it takes months and months on end to get to a high level with any given skill.

World of Warcraft is just ridiculously easy to level skills in. And with the recent patch to it, leveling your character is even easier. Anyone with money can get to the maximum skill level in every skill possible in less than a day.

Other than those two, I’ve never tried an MMOG. Any suggestions to get the best of both worlds? By the way, the community of ANY MMOG is going to be a joke, there’s no getting around that, I know.

I really like my best friend we are really close, almost like brother and sister but not in a werid, I want to date my brother sort of way. When he calls and my mom picks up the phone, he calls her "mom, and she calls him her adopted son. He doesn’t mind me talking to his brothers and sister. We play World Of Warcraft together and he always wants me to help him quest or be on the phone while we’re playing. We always kid around and say that I’m a bitch, and I say he’s a hoe, and we joke around like that. We’re in the band together so we skip class a lot to hang out in the band room. My Italian teacher found out so I’m baned from going to his lunch period. He can’t come to mine very often because he’s not doing so well in spanish so he can’t visit. But when ever we can we always hang out. Than a couple of days ago at play pratice, I went to the cafeterita to go buy a snack and even though he didnt have any money he came with me (I gave him money Later he got slapped and he was like OMG and goes feel my face! We were fooling around and it was great.
I really don’t want to start something that could ruin my friendship with him. Right now I could tell him anything, and he tells me anything.
But if he likes me, I really really like him, for 2 years now and I would tell him I liked him if I was pretty sure he liked my back.

So please give me some advice I honestly don’t know what to do! I was going to give up but than at play practice I thought I felt something there.

Hi.

I had a priest about a year and a half ago. I decided to leave after BC, because this became a really lame class. Holy was messed up, they became bad healers, their survavibility was a joke, etc.

But I’ve heard that they’re better now and considered to return to the game. Is the priest the best healer? Can he survive? Can he deal great damage when shadow specced? Are they fixed right now?

I’d like an experienced player to answer.
