Try cleaning up your computer by finding registry errors, erase unnecessary files, broken shorcuts, clear some RAM. I use 3 tools that help me a lot: Registry Mechanic (by PC Tools), RegToy (requires .NET Framework 2.0 – This is the BEST!) and AVG Antivirus.

With nine days to go till I’m 50 ( and for the 9 in 09 game ) – here’s nine past, present and future things about me for 2009:

1 I am the oldest and for 35 years have been the smallest of three brothers

2 I run a Level 71 Mage in World of Warcraft and want to get him to Level 80 by the end of the year.

3 I can’t say the word "Patron"

4 I owned a Triumph Bonneville for three years. I doubt I’ll ride a motorcycle again

5 I’ve done The Great North Run and have a place to do it again this year if I can get myself fit enough.

6 I usually know but don’t always admit it. Even to myself.

7 For nine years I lived on a boat.

8 I once built my own PC – and then bought a Mac…

9 I still want to visit the Chelsea Hotel , The Festival in The Desert and The Blue House – but probably on seperate days…

* Also the title of one of my favourite live albums.

Question by Money Murphy: Will Star Wars the Old Republic be World of Warcrafts biggest rival?
i play wow at the moment and with the release of cataclysm on december the 7th i can say that since playing wow when BC was released i am disappointed in cataclysm, they’ve given us two races wow big deal, id much prefer new classes, new gameplay, all the races do for us is make things look different, they dont change gameplay in anyway. Sure the added zones are cool but northrend was cool too and that was an entire new continent in wow, i mean honestly who cares about whether darkshores all busted up, you go there once you see it broken and then the funs gone, i think blizzard are such a bunch of ***holes and i think bioware are going to seriously damage them and warcraft when they release star wars the old republic.

To me i look at blizzard, then i look at bioware and i see blizzard as the babies and bioware as the masters, plus i think all this fantasy crap has ran its course lord of the rings, wow, runescape and all the others what do you think?

bioware (very skilled storytellers, make awesome games) >> blizzard (just a bunch of greedy people)
swtor (better setting, most likely better story, better people building the game) wow >> (a good game but has ran its course to be honest, no new gameplay in cata, just stupid “cosmetics” touching the old world in some zones, adding two races, but still the same old now boring to me gameplay)

In all honesty I think that The Old Republic is gonna give WOW a run for its money. From what i’ve heard/seen/read about the game is that its going to feel much more like a singleplayer game, but in a multiplayer setting. And that is a good thing, not only for the story but for the gameplay
It looks to me like The Old Republic will breathe new life in the old beaten and tired MMO formula
